Bloom named to Ski & Snowboard Hall of Fame
Two-time moguls World Champion Jeremy Bloom is one of the newest members of the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame.
Bloom, a former University of Colorado football player and graduate of Loveland High School, is part of a six-member class with Wayne Wong, Kirsten Clark, Craig Kelly, Horst Abraham and Hans Geier.
Bloom, a Loveland native, was the 2003 and 2005 World Cup champion in moguls, winning the dual moguls titles at the 2003 World Championships while taking silver in the individual event. The two-time U.S. Olympian set a record during his run to the 2006 Games by winning six consecutive mogul events on the tour, a streak that stood for seven seasons.
Bloom, who also was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles, founded Wish Of A Lifetime in 2008, which grants wishes to senior citizens. He is also the co-founder of Integrate.com.
The induction of the Class of 2012 will take place at the Marriott Vail Resort in Vail on April 13 as the concluding event for Skiing Heritage Week celebrating Vail’s 50th anniversary.
