Castle Rock man falls to death on glacier
Died in Rocky Mountain National Park

ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK - A 47-year-old man from Castle Rock has died in a fall at Rocky Mountain National Park.
The man slid about 100 feet down Andrews Glacier into rocks on Thursday afternoon while descending with some friends.
A park trail crew was in the area and recovered the man’s body.
Rangers assisted two other hikers in their 70s who ran into trouble Thursday. One declined an ambulance but a 79-year-old form Ballwin, Mo., was carried out on a litter and taken to Boulder Community Hospital.
