Are bikes OK in Rocky Mountain National Park?

Rocky Mountain National Park is considering allowing bikes on a 2-mile section of the East Shore Trail near the south boundary of the park, and park officials are seeking user comments.

A portion of the trail is on U.S. Forest Service land, where bicycles are permitted. The portion of trail under consideration is part of the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail but does not fall within Wilderness Area.

You can comment online at parkplanning.nps.gov/romo.
