There's time to train for Jack Quinn's 5K Championship!

THE GAZETTE

What better way to celebrate six years of pounding the pavement than with a championship run?

Jack Quinn's Running Club is holding its first Championship 5K on June 2 in Monument Valley Park, right about the time the group celebrates six years on the move.

As always, the Jack Quinn's Running Club welcomes people of all ages and skills levels, so if you simply run for fun, are just starting out, run with your dog or baby in a stroller, or you're just gonna be happy to finish a 5K at any pace, there's a fun run, too.

This group is all about fun and fitness.

Check out these photos of the fun-loving Jack Quinn's runners!

There will be socializing, treats and prizes at 3 p.m. on June 2, followed by the Fun Run 5K at 3:30 p.m. The chip-timed championship 5K race begins at 5 p.m.

Anyone can run in either event, but only a Jack Quinn's runner who has earned a T-shirt can be crowned the champion.
