By Tom McGhee, The Denver Post

The Summit County Coroner has identified the man found dead in the trees at Keystone Ski Resort on Sunday as Odo Lessacher of Griffin, Ga.

The ski patrol, responding to a phone report by a bystander, found Lessacher, 58, in the trees at the intersection of two intermediate ski runs, Alamo and Prospector, at 10 a.m. Patrollers immediately began CPR.

The man, who was not wearing a helmet, had a day pass. It wasn't revealed whether he was skiing or snowboarding.

According to coroner Joanne L. Richardson the man died from blunt force trauma to the chest and internal bleeding.
