Tri-Lakes Time Trial a huge success

THE GAZETTE

The inaugural Tri-Lakes Time Trial attracted cyclists of all ages from across Colorado to the rolling hills near Palmer Lake on Saturday, May 5, 2012.

Cyclists left at specific intervals between 8 a.m. and about 12:30 p.m. from a start line not far from the lake and powered along hilly South Sperry Road, West Fox Farm Road and Spruce Mountain Road on a 15.2-mile course.

The event was sponsored by Cafe Velo, a new cafe and bike shop at 11550 Ridgeline Drive in north Colorado Springs.
