Support Waldo Canyon firefighters with Castle Rock 5K

Want to support the firefighters of the Waldo Canyon fire? You can do it with a 3.1-mile race in Castle Rock.
This last-minute 5K is a grassroots effort to support firefighters on the frontline and displaced families and victims of the Waldo Canyon fire.
Organizers say every penny and donation will go to firefighter needs or displaced families.
The 5K is 8 a.m. Sunday, July 1, at the Douglas County event center. The entry fee is $20.
